and caving is caving. here i'll explain a little bit of it to you.
promising support of a strong public option is talking. taking the strong public option off the table before negotiations start is caving.

saying that the taxcuts for the top 2% need to be repealed is talking. saying that all options are open and he's willing to compromise at least temorarily is caving.

saying that social security should be left alone is talking. appointing a commission by executive order and loading it with ringers to cut social security is caving.
