Italy suspects U.S. snatched missing imam
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=e9f1fcec630e4865

Italian prosecutors are investigating whether the CIA smuggled a suspected militant Islamic imam out of Italy two years ago, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Milan prosecutor Armando Spataro has begun seeking answers to the disappearance of controversial Egyptian-born cleric Hassan Osama Nasr, who was last seen in Milan Feb. 17, 2003, being bundled into a minivan by a group of men.

Fifteen months later, Nasr telephoned his wife and friends and said he had been blindfolded, driven to a military base, then flown to Egypt, where he was tortured. His whereabouts now are unknown.

The newspaper said the situation has the hallmarks of a so-called extraordinary rendition, in which U.S. counter-terrorism agents seize and transport suspects to third countries without seeking court permission.

6. Kidnapping, "disappearing", indefinite detainments, no trials, no lawyers,
torture, rape, murder, illegal unprovoked invasions & occupations...

America's really racking up the evil-doer points.
