Russian newspaper plays U.S. card game Wed Sep 24, 1:03 PM ET
MOSCOW (Reuters) - A Russian newspaper has trumped the U.S. government with playing cards featuring top American figures -- a parody of decks depicting most-wanted Iraqis that were issued to U.S. troops during the war in Iraq (news - web sites).
U.S. President George W. Bush (news - web sites) is the jack of hearts in the new pack, which went on sale ahead of a meeting this week between Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin (news - web sites).
In the packs that are selling out in Moscow, Bush's father, former U.S. President George Bush, is the ace of hearts, while Federal Reserve (news - web sites) Chairman Alan Greenspan (news - web sites) is the ace of spades.

11. hippiechick, you took the words out of my brain.... |
|
that is precisely what I was going to write....remember the evil joker in Batman comics? That's the kind of "joker" he is. The whole idea of a deck of cards was so inane that now this deck is actually funny.

18. No jokers in the set. |
|
Usual Russian sets of cards contain only 36 cards (and the story mentions it's one of these) -- 6's and up, of 4 type.

He should be a club, because he is as dumb as a stick. Or a diamond, because it is all about the benjamins. Or a spade for all the graves he has caused to be dug. But no way should he be a heart.

10. Bu$h Sr. - Ace of Hearts |
|
Now there's a good one. One of the most heartless humans on earth, after his wife and dimson. LOL
And who may be the ace of clubs and diamonds?

15. LOL!!! Russian translation... |
|
The Russian translates (roughly) as:
George Bush (Jr.?) "Bushy" "Dubya" President of the USA from 2001, Convinced that God has a plan for him"
I think that "ml" is an abbreviation for "mladshe", or "Junior", but I'm not positive...

16. Georgie ought to be the deuce of clubs. |
|
It would be more fitting. Lowest card in the deck, and he's utterly worthless.
