20 Iraqis Killed by US Air Attack in Western Iraq
Many Iraqis killed in US air attack

Tuesday 12 April 2005, 12:50 Makka Time, 9:50 GMT

Twenty Iraqis have been killed and 22 injured after US helicopters and heavy artillery bombed houses in al-Rummana village, north of al-Qaim city, Aljazeera reported.

Seven children, six women and three old men were among the dead,
witnesses said, while the injured included 13 children, seven women and two old men.

The witnesses added that the shelling started after US forces, who landed near al-Qaim on Monday night, came under repeated attack.

Early reports indicated one house was completely destroyed and three others partially damaged in the bombing, according to Aljazeera.

On Monday, five car bombs hit US military targets in the western Iraqi city of al-Qaim near the border with Syria, wounding at least two US soldiers

3. America is so much safer now because of it
I mean that's all that's important right? That the conformists out in the exurbs "feel safer" when the US bombs Iraq for no reason.

Events like this make me want the price of gasoline to skyrocket up to 5$ a gallon.

8. Who give a diddledy-f**k how many Iraqis are killed/maimed with sophis-
ticated and advanced weaponry developed and produced at a cost of trillions of dollars funded by trillions of dollars of borrowings. And some idiots think we cannot indefinitely continue twin deficits at a rate of some two trillion dollars each every three years. Such naysayers will never see the ideological light and become true-believers.

10. Every socially stable nation has bombs dropped on it on occasion. . .
that's how you know everything's going so well in a country, by counting the frequency and duration of the random bombing campaigns against its citizenry.

Let's hear a shoutout from all those in the U.S. who woke up this morning to ordnance falling on their neighborhood! Yeah! How good do you have it in your neighborhood? Any flowers left in the stores? What songs you been singing these days? Ain't democracy grand?
