4. Bush Does Not Publish A Schedule of His Social Security Stops |
|
It is not possible to plan more than a day in advance for protest activities but, brothers and sisters in OH and the region, now is a perfect time to let your boss know that you need tomorrow off!

5. How does the get the pre-screened audience know when to be there? |
|
Do they tell them the location and time in advance and then swear them to secrecy?

8. When he came to Westfield NJ |
|
they did have a local newspaper article a few days ahead directing potential attendees to reach out to the local (Republican) Congressman's office. I found out only on the day of his visit when it was broadcast on local NYC TV news.
After that, I started going to whitehouse.gov looking for a published schedule for the "60 cities in 60 days" plan and found that it's not published. So, it's possible that some local officials in Cincinnati know this and even that local press has the story but as far as a national audience, DU is better.

6. when he's in trouble, he always runs back to cincy |
|
they love him there.
betcha he doesn't meet a group of african americans or appalachians in over-the-rhine or lower price hill. he'll be talking to lily-white suburbanites outside the city limits.

7. Thanks for the heads-up. I wish they'd let people know this stuff |
|
before hand, with more notice, I mean. Most people won't be able to go to something like that on such small notice.
By the way, welcome to DU! :hi:

10. OK. Wait just a freaking minute here... |
|
Number one - doesn't this guy have some actual work to do in the White House instead of running all over America touting some BS plan? We pay this guy to be the president, for God's sake, I'd like to see him do some damn work for a change instead of lazing at the pig farm or touring the nation!
Number two - are we taxpayers paying for these rallies? How is it legal for them to not allow non-republicans in to these meetings if they are paid for by tax dollars?

11. Why does a picture of a dead horse and a club come to mind??? |
|
sheesh....when is someone gonna call him on this publicly funded charade? Why are we forced to pay for these "rethuglican only" pep rallies, where the chimp spouts gibberish to adoring Reich wingers?

13. In Westfield, NJ They Intimidated Protesters |
|
They are way over the line in terms of failing to protect First Amendment rights. They forcibly dispersed Protesters in Westfield outside the armory where he was giving his speech to the audience that got their tickets from Republican Congressman Mike Ferguson.
Video of this incident is available at the website linked in my signature, Distressed American.
Go out and say "No" to the whole ugly Bush agenda! Carry a sign and fully exercise your rights! Don't bow down to intimidation. Consider civil disobedience as the best possible response to over-the-line intimidation or brutality.

12. Social Security road show |
|
This tour has to be one of the all time fruitless and bitter wastes of time in world history. All the while that dick is losing ground. Don't they understand that republican "success" can only be achieved by threats of "homeland" attack by communists, terrorists, gays, and abortion on demand proponents? Social Security can't be re-framed as one of these, therefore they have hit a brick wall.

15. One big reason we left Cincy |
|
Bunch of hard core inbred 'thuglicans and Bush lovers. I still had an office downtown there when Clinton visited. You never heard so much bitching in your life, about how he was tying up traffic and inconveniencing everyone. One of my fondest memories from there, was when I was still working for a firm as the only woman with six native Cincy guys. When Clinton won the first time, I was doing my Clinton victory dance all over the office. Honest to god--the worst of these 6 was pale, and looked like he was going to cry!
