Researchers urge fight against child abuse -- A group led by a University of Oregon professor calls for a new national focus and more studies on the problemhttp://www.oregonlive.com/search/index.ssf?/base/news/1114596007104150.xml?oregonian?lcen&coll=7"Child abuse is a dark and disturbing problem that may kill 1,400 U.S. children each year and hurt many thousands more.

So, if a brain damaged sex abuser offs himself after facing the equivalent of a Salem witch hunt 18 years after his offense is on the board, then everyone goes off. But, if someone actually wants to try to help reduce child abuse through systematic means, no one responds?
Call me disturbed. This is DU, no?
