Bush Rejects Criticism Over Iraq Policy
AP - 38 minutes ago

Bush, in a series of interviews, addressed accusations that his administration misjudged postwar Iraq, does not have an exit strategy and has let its strategy get bogged down in turf fights. The problem was underlined when a senior Republican, Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, declared, "The president has to be president."

"If the people don't think I'm doing my job they'll find somebody" else, Bush said. "That's my attitude," he told Tribune Broadcasting. "Look, I just don't make decisions on polls and I can't worry about polls."

OK, GEORGE! I'M FINDING SOMEONE ELSE!

1. I think deep down Bush would be quite okay if they found
someone else to do the job. Bush* has never liked real work or stress on the job and his getting that in spades these days.

He can't and won't admit it but I think he's much rather be back on the ranch clearing brush than dealing with the internecine fighting that's broken out in his administration.

15. he never lived on the ranch
till after the Selection. There was an interesting story about how the "ranch" was build just in time for the inaugeration.

He is such a total fake.

"Let's get the words right. I said Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and he used them. Which he did. And second I said he was a gathering threat. And that's an important distinction. ..."

I guess it all depends on what your definition of "had" and "did" is, huh moron?

Totally acting like he and his gang never even tried to insinuate that saddam had wmds at the time they started freedom bombing the Iraqis to death.

Let's get the words right my a$$!

@#%^& LIARS!

:grr:

7. Then fire your pollsters
"Look, I just don't make decisions on polls and I can't worry about polls."

Fire your pollsters and stop taking polls in your campaign.

8. Why do ALL American going for Top Secret clearances get a
Psychiatric evaluation but elected Presidents don't? I'm sure what the findings of this drug addict/alcoholic brain cell dead man would evaluate to.

All Presdients should have yearly evaluations.

11. anyone know what his "speech" schedule is
and how many of them include "selected/screened" audiences that end in fundraising?

Meanwhile - if he wants to "by-pass" the media then how is he going to get "publicity" for his PR campaign. Slamming the press is not the way to get favorable coverage....

12. also mentioned in the article
the whistleass saying that he doesn't pay attention to polls

Firstly, polls are an "informal" way of voting - so in saying that he doesn't pay attention to polls isn't he really saying that he isn't paying attention to the 'murican people? i.e. who cares what you think?

Secondly, if he's NOT paying attention to polls, then why do we get terra-lerts every time his numbers drop? Why is he going out on a PR campaign when his poll numbers are circling the toilet?

14. "Slimy Shrub" is "not relevant"
Doesn't know anything, doesn't care about anyone in this country, doesn't want to know anything, totall uninformed, not curious about anything - he's just there where the Supreme Court put him. He is irrelevant.

This doesn't sound like something a leader would say - it sounds more like something a spoiled rotten 8 year old would say....

silly us - and we thought the adults were in charge
