Senate Watch-10/14/2003 (9:30 AM-#1) [$87B Appropriations]

Tuesday, October 14, 2003


The Senate convenes at 9:30 AM.

Following a period of morning business to conclude at 10:30 AM (30 minutes for Hutchison, 30 minutes for Daschle), the Senate will resume consideration of S. 1689, the Emergency Supplemental Iraq/Afghanistan Appropriations bill.

The Senate will recess from 12:30 PM to 2:15 PM for the weekly party conferences.

At 2:15 PM, the Senate will resume consideration of S. 1053, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination bill, with a VOTE to occur on passage thereon at 2:30 PM.

Following disposition of S. 1053, the Senate will resume consideration of S. 1689. VOTES may occur on amendments throughout the afternoon.
