With Wall Street wary, Greenspan testifies again.

Greenspan is either too old to deal with the Economic realities--
or he has compromised his Integrity. His n-ts have been twisted so hard
by the Bush Administration that he is doing the most dangerous
thing of all by straddling the fence--and in effect neutralizing
anything he says and paralyzing the American people on the horns
of indecision.

1. maybe not...
Perhaps he is letting the economy stagnate on purpose
(doing his part to help get rid of the Shrub).

2. I'm not good at Greenspeak, but...
He has said several times that the long term fiscal outlook is in trouble (long term being 2012). As I am typing this he said it again, mentioning retirement benefits.

To paraphrase, Greenspan is saying the (long-term) pooch has been screwed. Those that depend on a solvent government will get little, if anything.
