Turks like Iraqi Kurdish structures just a little bit more than Israelis - Hamas. Now they have all reasons to be concerned!
As for neocons, they could not care less because Turkish-Kurdish relationship has nothing to do with their beloved foetus rights.

Ankara visibly disturbed by Barzani visit to White House
Turkey has relayed its displeasure to the Washington, DC adminstration over the manner in which Mesut Barzani, the leader of the Iraq Kurdistan Democratic Party (IKDP), was received in the White House by US President George W. Bush this week.
FM: This threatens the unity of Iraq
Yesterday in Ankara, the Charge d'Affaires for the US Embassy, Nancy McEldowney, was called to the Foreign Ministry, where Turkish Undersecretary Nabi Sensoy formally asked her to explain "whose president" Barzani was welcomed as at the White House. Sensoy reportedly passed on a warning to McEldowney that such practices threatened the unity of Iraq.

the bush appointed president of the IKDP.

4. I was joking because the official U.S. reply was "Barzani carries the ...
title of President of the Kurdistan region of Iraq". This is why bush referred to him as "President".

5. The first OFFICIAL recognization that Iraq is no longer one country...
Kurds get the oilfields of the North and Shiites get the oilfields of the South and the Sunnis get ?????? We can't do business with the Sunnis so they get to do the dieing....
