COLUMBIA, S.C. - A Texas man is paying for automated phone calls to South Carolina residents that criticize Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Robert Morrow, a 43-year-old Austin day trader who supports Republican Ron Paul, said the calls began Tuesday. He would not say how much he is spending, how many are being made or whom they target.
The calls assail the New York senator and her husband and make a series of allegations about them and their personal lives. The calls end with the words, "Can you trust her?"

South Carolina resident Margaret Singleton said she was offended by the call she received.
"He needs his mouth washed out with soap. I'd like to tell him, 'What a terrible thing to call a 78-year-old woman and speak of all those things.' It makes no difference to me, and I am going to vote for Hillary Clinton," Singleton told The Sun News of Myrtle Beach. "I think he should be made to stand in front of all the people he called and we should all be able to give him a good whack in the butt."

Hopefully these calls will backfire like crazy.
