A Jordanian state security court has sentenced eight militants to death for the 2002 killing of a U.S. diplomat in Amman.
Diplomat Laurence Foley, who worked for an international aid organization, was shot dead in October of 2002 in the driveway of his home in the Jordanian capital.
A Libyan militant Salem Saad bin Sweid and a Jordanian accomplice Yasser Friehat accused of gunning down Mr. Foley were among those sentenced to death.
