No 10 'had ownership' of dossier, memo claims
Is somebody is not telling Lord Hutton the whole truth! Make of this what you will.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/hutton/story/0,13822,1035739,00.html

New documents released to the Hutton inquiry today appear to blow out of the water the government's central defence in their row with the BBC - that the controversial September dossier was always "owned" by the joint intelligence committee (JIC) and not Downing Street.

A memo of a meeting chaired by John Scarlett, the chair of the JIC, last September -seven days before the dossier was published - states that "ownership lay with No 10".

That contradicts point-blank the testimony of the prime minister, Alastair Campbell - the government's outgoing director of communications - and Mr Scarlett himself.

In their evidence to the inquiry all three government figures insisted it was the JIC which had "ownership" of the dossier.

(I'll snip, but I do advise you to read on)

3. If Blair has any sense of dignity he should go
It's the only way to stop the rot. I know Blair won't want to but it's not like his bullshit is of any use any longer.

Why Tony Blair must resign

2. Thanks Thankfully !!! --- This Is Big !!! --- Love This Part:
(From the same article)

<snip>

Even if those statements are taken at face value, it at least raises the question of why none of the principle players - Tony Blair, Alastair Campbell or John Scarlett - saw fit to mention this distinction to Lord Hutton, or why the papers were suddenly released on the final day of the first stage of the inquiry.

Number 10 trying to control the 'drips' here, no???

4. Remember how Bush and Condi and the others
all said that the British had evidence blah blah blah? Why aren't the U.S. papers focusing on this inquiry?

5. What does it take to get Blair out?
Maybe he needs to kill a motorcyclist with his car.
