2. I thought he was going to hide in
Nebraska again.

Oh you say that was what he did on the Actual 9-11?

4. I think you are correct, KoKo01....
I would have thought that bush* would be the one to go to NYC for the rememberance ceremonies, not cheney. But after that EPA report came out, the chickenhawk decided to play it safe and stay in DC.

5. We should take bets as to how huge the NYC protest will be
Intuition tells me it's going to be massive.

6. No, that's not it
(although it's a valid concern)
Next year is the big GOP/911 bash.
The Bush team doesn't want to blow their load prematurely so they're toning it down a bit the year before the convention so the following year they can go nuts. This is about showbiz.

7. Why don't they do a "recreation" of 9/11?
* could appear at that school in Florida and read the kids the goat story, Andy could whisper in his ear, then they could recreate their celebrated flight back to DC. All the while, Unca Dickie will remain at his desk giving reassurances to the Boy King that he's got everything under control, no need to rush back.

8. Yeah sounds good
And Bush can sit there in the classroom for 20 minutes with that deer-in-the-headlights look again.

10. great plan -- then we wouldn't have to look at * all day
He'd be flying away on AF1 and hiding in that Nebraska bunker, until they trot him out several hours after the fact to "reassure the public" (after the damage had been done!)

9. Rummy...Wreath? Where? What?
Is he using the usual wreath laying venue, the tomb of the unknowns?

So is he laying a wreath on the tomb of the unknown military heroes (who were killed in the wars since WWI) to commemorate the deaths of civilians who would not be eligible to be buried in a national cemetery? Most of the people killed at the Pentagon were not eligible for interment at Arlington Cemetery either.
I don't see a connection.

It practically took an act of congress to allow burial of this veteran who died on 9/11 at the Pentagon.

11. Is he going to read "The Hungry Caterpillar" at the ceremony??
Or reenact his inaction - his not having asked a single question upon being "informed" - nor uttering a single word - much less uttering a frickin' order? Is he going to demonstrate how 47 minutes after the SECOND trade center was hit - Washington D.C. was left completely defenseless to attack by air?? Is he going to reproduce his cowardly diving into bunker to bunker act?? This oughta be good, provided the cowardly Chimp does those things! Bring 'em on! Can't wait for his TV film - "Chimpy does 9-11!"

12. New Yorkers
Please don't ignore a visit by Cheney. He is the man behind the curtain. Get out there...you can't let this man waltz in for a photo-op that will raise funds for the rich Republicans.

Instead of infighting among Democratic candidates, making Republicans uncomfortable should be Job One.
