Protest Warrior harmful to campus right
University of Wisconson
The newest addition to the radical right on campus is a local chapter of an international organization called "Protest Warrior." Founded in the midst of the Iraq war debate, Protest Warrior is a group that infiltrates anti-war protests and demonstrations with the intent of fulfilling their manifesto of "arming the liberty-loving Silent Majority with ammo-ammo that strikes at the intellectual solar plexus of the Left."

edit ...

At the rally, the Protest Warriors were merrily brandishing a sign that said "Communism has only killed 100 million people-let's give it another chance." If you follow the logic of this dazzling requiem to McCarthy, it is only a matter of time before Iraqis communists would threaten us. Somehow our enemies, against even the most rudimentary dictates of political theory and history, have conspired to form a communist/Islamic super-enemy waging war against freedom. Damn that crafty Marx!

edit ...

Operation "Tiger Claw" consisted of a high school student who-in the language of action movies-"rebelled against the sinister thought police by courageously battling teachers and the administration." Operation "Tiger Claw" was a kid walking around his high school posting their flyers while waving an American flag. You get the feeling that these wackos honestly believe that one day President Bush is going to summon them to the White House and, while he's in his flight suit, inform them he needs their help for operation "Love America," in which those who disagree with the administration are publicly flogged.

Protest Warrior exists simply as a way for people to garner attention and self-importance by doing nothing more than making people angry. One member explained that joining Protest Warrior "changed his life" and said, "I hate how liberals roll their eyes at us ... like we are children whenever they see our signs."

2. Mace them
tell the cops you knew they were Republicans, and that you figured they were going to take all your money and give it to George Bush's rich friends, so you had no choice but to mace them.

3. Funny Story
Last year there was a kid that came to an anti war protest in Barrington and he had a sign that said "Iraq I was there," and than on the back the sign said Protest Warrior.com. Now anyone looking at this "kid" could tell that he was misrepresenting himself so I decided to call him out. I asked him if he served in wartime, he said, "yes," then I asked him how old he was. He said "sixteen," do these people eat dumb for breakfeast or is it an inbreeding thing .

5. Last month at the protest in Boston, I encountered a little wannabe
Protest Warrior with a shaved head who was telling protestors that they should join the military and go to Iraq, so I said . . . "well, I already did 8 years in the army, why haven't you joined yet since you support the war?" His response "I'm going to." I said "Good, why didn't you join at the beginning if you are so supportive of the effort?" His answer? "Because I wasn't 19 yet."

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I started laughing my ass off and pointed it out to him loudly enough for everyone for about 50 feet around to hear "You say you didn't join the military to support Bush's war because you weren't 19 yet? You do know you only have to be 18 right? 17 with parental consent?" He said nothing, bowed his head and just mumbled for 10 minutes.

6. "like we are children"-- more like because you are idiots.
These guys just make no sense. Their little signs are stupid- at best. I will never attend a protest ralley again without enlistment forms. <http://www.dior.whs.mil/forms/DD0004.pdf>

P.S. Hi Joe! :hi:

It's a shame the right-wing wackos are starting to come out of the woodwork. They should know they're not welcome there.

:: once again wishing I had gone there for school::

11. Correct me if I'm wrong...
...but I believe these were the same shitheads who were shown in the Time Ann Coulter article with the obvious fake signs ( "Communists for Kerry", "Criminals against gun control", etc.) that lapdog Time portrayed as legitimate progressives.

I would encourage that we need to do the same and infiltrate the Repuke organizations and rallies and find some way of making them look more ridiculous, but how much more discrediting can we do that they aren't already on their own?
