September 29, 2003—It didn't take a rocket scientist to know that George W. Bush and his minions were telling a heap of lies about the immediate need to carry out an illegal invasion of Iraq, yet now the members of Congress who gave him a blank check to destroy that country and the corporate media that cheered Bush & Co. on are expressing shock—shock—over the lies the occupant of the White House and his advisers told.
The question is what is Congress going to do about the lies? George W. has told nothing but lies since the day he cast his greedy, power-lusting eyes on the White House:
He lied about his military service.
He lied about his drug use.
