2. He is trying to Clinton his situation

Clinton got through his mess by saying, with conviction, that he was going to stay focused on the nation's business...and he did stay focused. He worked all day, from morning to night, and on weekends, too.

Monkey's "business" involves frequent vacations and letting a bunch of people who are very likely to be indicted do his work for him. He backslaps, speechifies, and glad hands. Now he will have to deal with a whole new crew, and you have to wonder how thrilled they will be, getting their shot at being a WH staffer under these torturous circumstances. And if the rumors of the Monkey flying off the handle and doing everything shy of flinging feces at his subordinates are true, it'll only be a matter of time before the new crew starts grumbling to to the press corps...
