Kit Bond Retires: No Word from The Hoff |
|
Kit Bond, Senator from Missouri for a long long time, is going to retire and his seat will be up for election in 2010, and that’s good for Democrats, I think. But the real question here is that so far there is no reaction from David Hasselhoff. Perhaps this signals that there has been a rift between the two in the last couple years. That’s sad, eh? http://allspinzone.com/wp/2009/01/09/kit-bond-to-retire-no-word-from-the-hoff/

9. Yes, tragic, especially when he sings. |
|
He's a big singing star in Germany, remember? And the Germans haven't liked any good pop singer since the Beatles.
I remember a terrible Disney entertainment special where the Hoff was run up to a Disney bandstand by KITT, who told him "Go ahead, David, give them a knockout show." Obviously KITT was as programmed as the Disney cast members out there to cheer him on. (For the record, Disney specials, especially nighttime ones, never invite outsiders to be in the audience; they have cast members, Disney employees, ordered to show up and cheer as if they really like the entertainment.)
The Hoff's singing could't be worse if he was lying on the stage, drunk, with a half-eaten Whopper sticking out of his mouth.

I am risking my life here, almost as much as if I was hassling a Republican like . . Chuck Norris! Yikes
