2. If PNAC weren't going to scam the election, Hillary would kick her ass.
No change of that happening, though. I don't think even PNAC could possibly defraud enough ballots to get the red states voting for a black woman.

3. Bush again or Arnold
The Nazis will either run Bush again (after passing legislation lifting the two-term limit) or they'll run Arnold (after passing the legislation to allow foreign-borns to run).

They may need a terror attack in CA to turn Arnold into a Guiliani-like hero first.

Just my dismal thoughts on this fine morning.

5. Your post is a scary one. But I've also
wondered if they'd try to lift the two term limit. If they have no other viable candidates, I think they might, to give them more time to groom another neocon.

7. I just don't see that happening
It's too likely to bite them in the ass. What happens when a popular DEMOCRAT becomes president and they're stuck with him for 12 years, 16 years, whatever. Nope, not going to happen.

I'd hate for them to change the native born requirement, especially for a goofball like Ah-nuld. Yeah, he has the movie star factor going for him, but let's face it. He's just not all that. And again, I think it could easily end up biting the GOP in the ass. What's going to happen when a strong Mexican born politician is out there and the Hispanics become the majority of the US population. It's not that far away.

12. Oh, I think they're grooming Santorum (sp?) because he thinks
like they do, he's not bad looking, and he can talk in complete sentences, although that might be a minus on his side. As for Hillary, I just don't think so. She's such a lightning rod for the right-wing and I truly believe if she tried to run, her small plane would go down in some remote area of the country. I still think John Edwards would be the best one to run, although I'm not sure what his plans are for the next 4 years - got to do something to keep his name in the paper. I think there's a terrific cabinet post for Hillary, but not president. As for Condi, is there a dumber person in politics than her?

4. Actually, I hope they do run her.
I don't doubt she's intelligent, but her image is that she DIDN'T do her job as NSA, that she LIES to cover shrub's a**, and her own. I think you would have a similar outcome in a 2008 election to the one in 2004, except the winner would be the Dem! It's no secret on DU that there's still a lot of racism in this country, and there is also a LOT of people who simply wouldn't want a female President!

6. Sure, if the GOP wants to lose
Sorry to say, it's just not going to happen. I don't see America, as a country, electing a woman, an African-American, a Jew, etc. as president. Not yet. Now, it's possible that a woman as VP would work on a ticket, or a black person, or a Jew, but only if they are very strong as a politician. I don't think the presidential ticket of either party is well served by having a "token" whoever.
