Oil via Nuke power plant in Canada's Alberta Tar Sands- maybe w/ hydrogen!

Edited on Sun Nov-28-04 04:40 PM by papau
Seems some experimental work showed the "highest-known production rate of hydrogen by high-temperature electrolysis" - and recovering usable fuel from the Athabasca Tar Sands in Alberta, Canada - the largest oil deposits in the world - and making gasoline requires only copious amounts of steam and hydrogen, both products of a reactor with good hydrogren generation. Alberta Hydrogren used in automotive fuel cells might replace 400,000 gallons of gasoline per day, but with no infrastructure for car use, the immediate use is recovering usable fuel from the Athabasca Tar Sands.

SO SHOULD THE NYT PRETEND THIS IS ALL ABOUT A HYDROGEN ECONOMY?

1. Putting two & two together isn't difficult where Bush Greed is concerned..
'recovering usable fuel from the Athabasca Tar Sands in Alberta, Canada - the largest oil deposits in the world'
-----------------

Bush has this way of inching his evil self into any Nation with a healthy stash of energy supply.

His sudden recognition and gratitude to Canada for 9-11 help just HAD to have an alterior reason. Does Bush do anything good just for the sake of goodness? There just had to be something BIG in it for him.
Crooked is as crooked does.

Have the Saudi/Bush plans for world oil domination reached to our blessed Canadian neighbors?

Beware Canada, when George Bush smiles at you, calls you his friends, BEWARE!
While you're thinking "he's not such a bad guy..see how nice he can be"...a hundred bucks says he's already sized you up and has your wallet in his back pocket.

Shifty, lying & crooked. He's a thief, a con artist. Practiced, seasoned and paid well for his silver-tongued talents.

Trust us when we say that if Bush and pals want your oil reserves they WIL have them.
THis visit comes with a very high price.
Buyer Beware.

Please let the worlds greatest con artist know that the heist their planning with Canadas Oil Reserves is to be met with caution and mistrust of Bush and his gang of filthy greedy thugs.

Send him away..send the message loud and clear..and remind your leader what Bush is really after.
No doubt Bush will make Canada a tempting offer.
But that's what they did to the leader of Iraq years ago.
BEWARE, THIS BUSH VISIT.

Thanks
Blaze

4. Shall we sit back and watch the bidding begin??!
George shouldn't a forgot his p's, q's and thank-you's to Canada.
Maybe he wouldn't have to be swollowing so much crow with this faux visit, now.

Well this should be interesting..China verses Bush/Saudi's.

Maybe Canadians will be flodding the border this way..Where will the masses go when the Canadian Oil War begins?

We could all go to Mexico..head south. Maybe Colombia, I hear some don't think too much of Bush down there.

Poor Canada..they're the kindest people..fun too.
I'm wondering where the China vs Bush/Saudi war for Canada's Oil Reserves will be fought?

Man these people suck!

5. The Reason Why Canada Is Letting Bush IN: Where's The Beef?
Suppose you were the illegitimate President of the richest country on the continent. You try slapping tarrifs on steel, but the WTO gets annoyed and punishes you! So you figure THAT won't work.

You have all these ranchers supporting you, in the arid West, where all the subsidized water goes. They are unhappy because cattle prices are low while feed prices are high. You could let some ranchers (agribusiness, for those who don't believe in fairy tales) go out of business, but they don't want free market Darwinism, not for themselves, thank you! You could cut farm subsidies to the crop farmers, so that feed costs drop, but then the crop farmers (agribusiness, for you who don't believe in fairy tales) would be ticked off. You could jawbone the meat packers and other middle men, but they whine all the time about their profit margins as it is. So you go see your GOP approved mad economist(GOP-ME).

Your GOP-ME offers a novel solution: Mad Cow Disease! Create the impression that your trading partner to the North (Canada, for the geographically impaired), which under NAFTA has done wonders in bringing tons of tasty, nutricious, healthy and CHEAP beef, pork, eggs, etc. to American grocery stores, has herds of disease-bearing cows which will infect US herds and bring Americans a slow, painful, unpreventable death from spongy brains! Slap a quarrantine on Canadian beef, paint yourself as a hero, defender of the poor, etc. etc. It isn't true; you had your minions doctor one cow (a synch, compared to all that anthrax turmoil, which got out of hand and actually got real people dead, some of whom would have voted Republican, no doubt, since the targetted Democrats didn't actually open their own mail) and the only creature dead this time is the cow, who would have been slaughtered for market anyway. Suddenly, supply of cows drops! Throw in the Atkins diet plan and demand for beef rises, and suddenly Sunday's roast is $8-$20 a pound, instead of $2-$5. What could be more beneficial to the campaign coffers?

But then the chickens come home to roost: Japan, well versed in political Kabuki centuries before you took it up, decides to embargo US beef, (thereby saving themselves and their own beef market without using WTO prohibited methods) due to the fear of Mad Cow tainted US beef. The Vegans, Vegetarians, and heart doctors all counter-attack on Atkins, while the public, having actually read of Britain's people dropping like flies, back away from the table. Since you have never actually insisted on any serious prevention/detection or protection of the food supply (because you know damned well there isn't any mad cow disease in the US or Canada, for that matter), you are caught in your own lies; and meanwhile some enterprising reporters (although they don't seem to work in the corporate media and you can't get them fired) start talking about American cattlemen sending sick animals to slaughter that can't even walk, they are so ill.

So after thoroughly disrupting the domestic economies of your citizens, ticking off your biggest trading partner to the North, losing the lucrative Japanese beef market indefinitely, and shredding just a bit more of the vaunted US credibility, you steal another election and go, hat in hand, over the border to mend fences.

What have you learned from this? GOP-ME!

6. Why more interest Iran's Nukes than N. Korea's?
Or why Bush was in South America monkeying around? His motives are so clear. I also find it odd that the media never mentions oil when talking about Bush travails and travels and neither does he. Mums the word. Tis fits well with his great white adventure where he is hated.
