Look who's forgotten 9/11. |
|
For the past two and a half years I couldn't read the LTTEs in my local paper or watch c-span's Washington Journal without hearing about how liberals had forgotten 9/11. Whether conservatives were trying to justify the Iraq War, smear a democratic candidate, or just looking to prop up one more lie about Clinton, the constant refrain was "democrats have forgotten 9/11".
In the past couple of weeks I haven't heard this phrase once.
So what's the problem, do conservatives want to "forget" 9/11?

1. Now that the evidence ... |

is showing that negligence on the part of the AWOL administration was a big factor in the success of 9/11 attacks, I'm sure they do want to forget it.
They will use 9/11 to instill fear in the American People, but when the American People ask them what happened ... they just shrug and say "there was nothing we could do".
It is a shame that Al Gore is not our President. Him and his team already had a plan (Hart-Rudmann), and already knew what was at stake in regards to terrorism. I honestly believe there would not have been attacks if this were the case.
