Whistleblower John Dean from Watergate Era
will be on MSNBC Keith Olberman on Monday to talk about his book "Worse that Watergate" An eye opening expose on Bush, Cheney and administration secrecy
it validates what we all have been saying..... and if everyone will email the networks after the interview, we might be able to get Dean the exposure that RAC got.....
it would be a nice one-two punch
power to the people.....power to the people right on

1. You should have caught him on NOW with Bill Moyers
"John Dean is in the news again. Thirty years ago as counsel to Richard Nixon he mesmerized the country with his testimony in the Watergate hearings about "a cancer growing on the presidency." Eventually Nixon would resign and John Dean would go down in history for his role in the Watergate scandal. Now Dean has written a new book – his sixth – in which he concludes that the obsessive secrecy and deception in Washington today is "Worse Than Watergate." The conversation with Bill Moyers is Dean’s first television interview on "the hidden agenda of a White House shrouded in secrecy and a presidency that seeks to remain unaccountable" and his book WORSE THAN WATERGATE: THE SECRET PRESIDENCY OF GEORGE W. BUSH."

Now with Bill Moyers

Thanx for the heads up on Dean's MSNBC appearance.
:hi:

5. He was great
put everything in perspective. A real eye opener for those of you who are to young to know about WATERGATE. rummy and cheney were around then also. HMMMM! Coincidence? Maybe not? Then it was follow the "MONEY," Now I am hearing, follow the "OIL." Could it also be why they call themselves VULCAN? Birds of a feather flock together.

2. While Dean is not actually
a whistleblower, he is an articulate and intelligent person who played a historic role in the Watergate era. I think that his book and accompanying interviews will give moderate republicans something very serious to consider. I look forward to reading his book. Still, as a life-long democrat, I'm far happier to see/hear the words "power to the people .....power to the people right on!"

3. I have to ask
How does John Dean really know about this stuff - he's not a * administration guy, so what are his sources? Or is it all analysis of already-reported information?

some on background...but his book is very well documented siting multiple sources......... with background sources only being used as confirmation

7. Pick up a copy of
the movie "ALL THE PRESIDENTS MEN" to get an idea, based on the book of the same name by Bob Woodward.

8. He's an analyst and constitutional scholar
He uses extant sources, but as a Washington insider AND REPUBLICAN for decades, most likely he has friends on the inside who tell him things. He is also a man who has seen his career destroyed by institutional lying, so I trust him to tell the truth when others might not.
