Where Appeasement Gets You: Right-Wingers Setting Their Sights on DU
http://www.blogsforbush.com/mt/archives/000912.html

Well, it appears that blogosphere (including Blogs For Bush) got some results when John Kerry's Blog de-linked Daily Kos.

Not only has Daily Kos been de-linked from Kerry's blogroll, but, as Blogs For Bush pointed out yesterday, Daily Kos was still linked on Kerry's Blogs, Boards, and Networking Groups.

Now that has been removed also.

But... Daily Kos is only the tip of the iceberg.

John Kerry's Blog still links to Democratic Underground. Which, in comparison is ten times as bad as Daily Kos. Other blogs of similar extremism remain there as well.

John Kerry's Blog has now established a precedent where they they will de-link any site they find inappropriate.

This can't be allowed to happen. The rightwingers are trying to turn Kerry into the Internet equivalent of Neville Chamberlain.

The site I linked to, Blogs For Bush, has a large number of blogs listed. If they're attacking us for extremism, then then they deserve to have their own extremism exposed as well.

Bring back the best quotes you can find!

1. BLEH!
So the mother of all extremist sites, Freak-uh, I mean, "Free" Republic, gets a free ride while they have the nerve to call DU "extremist?" I DON'T FUCKING THINK SO!

6. Unfortunately, Kos gave them the angle.
Flush from their success in getting Kos delinked, now they're scrouging up some inappropriate comments that have been posted here and are trying the same thing.

14. They need to focus on their
own people's "inappropriate comments" first, Annthrax Coulter alone could fill an entire fucking VOLUME!

5. Freeperland organizes terrorism according to Patriot Act.
Freeperland has been organizing hacking and other "cyber-attacks." All that stuff is defined as terrorism by the Patriot Act. Maybe it's time to get some freepers indicted as terrorists.

11. that would be awesome
Using their own weapons against them. I'd have to create a Freeper account just to gloat over it, if it did happen

15. Hey, if we have to have Patriot Act test cases, might as well be neo-cons
The goal is to get rid of the Patriot Act. Nothing would accomplish that quicker than turning the Republican base against the Patriot Act. A list of indicted freepers would be the quickest way to make that happen.

7. Watch for some idiotic comments posted here, so they can be
illuminated on the RW Blogs.

They want to make Kos comments the issue, but the fact is, they are mercenaries. I'll bet if the framers of our Constitution were still around, they'd be reminding the Freepers that King George had Hessians employed in the colonies as his agents and we didn't treat them none to kindly, eiter.

8. Valid point. Give a thug an inch, he'll cut your throat next
"Give then hell and never retreat" was Clark's advice to Kerry.

Still waiting for those results....
