Poll question: Who should we support for President?
It's time to unite and support the nominee.

1. Not until he earns it - and he's got plenty of time to (n/t)

2. I agree
But I also welcome dissenting opinions, which we were denied a few months back. I welcome any credible dissenting opinion. That is what democracy is all about. Let's not forget it.

13. Dennis Kucinich!
Indiana primary is in May and I will be voting for the best qualified candidate for President, Dennis Kucinich.

Dennis will bring the troops home, repeal PATRIOT, and leave NAFTA.

3. Nader!

Kerry gets my vote, no argument there.

But do I, in my heart, really want Kerry as Pres? Only if there's no other choice.

Like Nader, no frigging way do I really want Kerry. I vastly preferred Dean and nobody could top Kucinich.

I now finally comprehend the phrase "the lesser of two evils".

6. Yes. lesser of two evils
such as Gore vs. bush in 2000. Gore was the "lesser of two evils" imo. Now apparently Kerry seems to be that, according to some. Kerry really needs to win for the sake of America.

12. Very well said!
I agree, Kerry will be the lessor of two evils.

I also agree nobody can top Dennis Kucinich, who I will support right up through the convention. It is important for the progressive to support Kucinich in order that our voice can be heard there. Though once the convention is over we have make sure our voice is still heard, but ultimately cast that vote for Kerry.

7. Factual error Kerry is not yet the nominee
not until Boston. BFEE still has time to Wellstone him or arrange a mysterious "skiing accident".

8. Not if he picks McCain as his running mate, sorry.

Wolf Blitzer hinted at that possibility this morning in his Howard Dean interview. I cringe at the thought.

14. McCain won't run for VP
McCain told CBS on March 18th

"I don't want to be vice president of the United States. I do not want to leave the Republican Party. I would not be vice president of the United States on either ticket," McCain told CBS on Thursday.

This was reported on yahoo news - but the link is no longer active.

11. I will vote for Kerry
but he has not earned my support. Kerry must earn my support and he is a long way off from doing that. The only reason I will vote for Kerry is because he is not Bush.
