Poll question: Will Saddam be offed before any trial? |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-04-04 08:12 PM by ButterflyBlood
In any trial it would have to be revealed that the Reagan and Poppy administrations backed him up the most. So what's the chance that he'll be assasinated by extremist "Kurds" or "Shi'ites"?
On the other hand, * could probably try to exploit his trial and in that case it'd be better to have him dead. I'm against the death penalty, but I'm certainly not going to mourn in his case.

1. He may not be whacked before the trial but |
|
he may suffer an "unfortunate" heart attakc or similar ailment. He knows too much.

2. He's got too much to say about the assholes in power |
|
like Rumsfeld, Cheney, and the rest of his buddies from the 1980s.

3. Given the very odd silence on the issue ever since he was handed over to |
|
our troops, it does raise an eyebrow or three.
Where is Saddam?
Given that he's such a mean guy who was a big threat to America who was going to start an imminent attack hence *'s behavior at the time, shouldn't the populace be asking questions about the latest?
Shouldn't the American public also be wondering why the excuse for this invasion has changed so often, particularly the double-whopper-with-cheese-and-extra-pickles of them all, "Liberate Iraq", which the public handed to * on a silver platter no less?
If you ask me, the American public are genuises for being led and volunteer to give their 'leader' ammo. They've been trained not to ask questions, amongst other things.

4. He'll never make it to trial. |
|
He could be dead now, he could be on an island somewhere relaxing, his role played. Whatever the case, he's never going on trial. He has too much info against these guys who hijacked the White House.

5. He could - legitimately - die of old age |
|
I think they should be moving on this. There has to be some way to use it to unite the Iraqi's behind a cause other than hating America.
