Coming soon: "Iraq Syndrome":
Recriminations over "Who lost Iraq?" Regrets about having "fought with one hand tied behind our back." Handwringing regarding a "blow to American prestige."

Followed by a quick, palliative invasion of a tiny, absofrickinlutely defenseless country. I can almost see the Time cover: "Walking Tall Again - America Shakes Off Her Iraq Syndrome."

Who'll take the fall this time? Antigua?

3. I'm thinking Martinique
It's tiny, has no military, nice beaches and its..............French.

:-)

Unfortunately, admitting IraqNam was a mistake will take years and years and thousands of U.S. soldier's lives to happen.

4. Great post
but i think this war set things in motion that we may never overcome (you know the law of unintended consequences)-this smacks of 1914-the alteration of alliances all to our detriment-or maybe it is like the Peloponnesian war with all the negative consequences to Athens?
