Saw this on Sirius Corporate news
"SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI), known for delivering the very best in commercial-free music and premium sports programming to cars and homes across the country, today announced that it will add Air America Radio to its lineup of programming that already includes the first radio channel dedicated to liberal viewpoints, SIRIUS LEFT. The two channels complement SIRIUS RIGHT, the talk radio channel dedicated to conservative viewpoints, which today announced the additions of such hard-hitting national stars as Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham and Tony Snow."

11. I Think It's Very Fitting
Black holes are so dense that nothing escapes them - not even light.

And that's a pretty good description of Michael Weiner, a.k.a. Michael Savage. I still haven't found out if his real name is pronoinced "WEE-ner" or "WHINE-er". Either one fits.

XM Satellite Radio is part owned by ClearChannel, I'll be damned if I'm going to sent them any money.

9. YEAH!!!! I have a sirius tuner at home...I'd love to get it
to work in my cube at work but alas it does not...when I wrote sirius they suggested I mount an antenna OUTSIDE...HELLO!!!! I work in a cube and do not own the building!!!!!!!

When I bought the system the guy at Circuit City said it should work in an office building. Guess he would say that to sell a unit.

edit for UPDATED INFO Air America will start broadcasting on Sirius Monday April 19th on stream 125
==============================

genfeedback@sirius-radio.com

There have been a lot of Sirius Subscribers requesting Air America.

They clearly listen to the subscribers.

They've always had a left leaning subscriber base anyway because of their programming.

I'll be sending them one of those good old fashioned pen on paper letters thanking them too.

I'm a happy, happy, subscriber.

Imagine having a choice of TWO Liberal Talk Channels? Now I know how the Re-pubs feel with all those choices.

The Grisly Deaths of Thousands of Iraqis

US troops in tanks and hum-vees patrol Baghdad's streets day and night. But they don't seem to be making the city any safer for regular Iraqis.

by Aaron Glantz

BAGHDAD, IRAQ -- American officials have been quick to condemn yesterday's killing of three American contractors in Fallugah. The charred remains of the contractors, retired military men working for North Carolina's Blackwater Security Consulting were pulled from the wreckage of their burning car by jubilant Iraqis who beat them with sticks before dragging them through town.

American Administrator L. Paul Bremer, condemned the killings, as well as the combat deaths of five American soldiers on the same day, and said ``their deaths would not go unpunished.''

``Yesterday's events in Fallujah are dramatic examples of the ongoing struggle between human dignity and barbarism,'' he said at a graduation ceremony for Iraqi police cadets. ``The acts we have seen were despicable and inexcusable. ... They violate the tenets of all religions, including Islam, as one of the foundations of civilized society.''

But while the American Army works hard to protect itself and its contractors, it doesn't appear to be working half as hard to keep regular Iraqis safe from death

Dear Persons as an avid Radio listener, I would like to compliment you on you accomplishment of your new invention of personal satellite radio.

I would think you also have some controversial shows on also. I recently posted a note on a Internet user forum stating of a need for a station from the ORIGINAL listener supported public airwaves that of

Pacifica
http://www.pacifica.org/programs/reportfromiraq/index.html\

In which I also stated I would post any replies your company sent back about any of this. There are several thousand other people that travel in site who have your product ana listen to the Pacifia, but there are also several others who only have one or the other

How many requests would you need to even think about it? Do you have others in fold the have a clause in their contract of you guaranty of not airing such stations? Or a you not even at the liberty to say anything about that? If you really want to get people interested in your product you should consider such possibilities

I am sure you do surveys and several other things, but giving the people what they want is the first order in any successful business venture.

Good luck and you could bet I would be first in line for it if such a thing were possible. Until that time I will stick already paid for 100,000+ watt public station I help support http://www.kpfk.org/
