I love Wesley Clark.
Edited on Mon Apr-05-04 09:22 PM by JohnLocke
I'm listening to him right now on Nightline. He's so well-informed about the details of Iraq politics. Such an intelligent, well-spoken person. He's great!

To Clark:

15. well
I don't know if that's true. I felt awful. But I saw no reason to keep bringing it here.

I was supporting Clark over a year ago. I wanted him to be chosen more than any candidate in my lifetime, but it didn't happen.

I want to beat Bush more than anything, AND Kerry was my second choice, so I didn't think it useful to complain about it here.

31. that's exactly how I feel
Just because my guy lost, doesn't mean I was about to trash Kerry, unlike a lot of people here.

I'm still flabbergasted by the number of people who can look at the state this country's in, and their first instinct is to bash John Kerry. It's insane.

is probably as happy to see him there as we were. Them knowing that aWol doesn't have to face him in a debate.

You were just outstanding.
You are so smart and bring so much light to each question.
Even the silly Anderson was hard pressed to give you a hard ball. He
knew you were ready to hit everything he threw at you out of the ball park.

http://207.137.168.225/

Go to link above.

Click 'Browse' to look on your computer for the file.

After you select the file, click 'Upload' and read and follow the next instructions. Be sure to note the URL it creates for your pic, perhaps bookmark it. Or copy it, to paste into your post.

Repeat for any nice pic of Wes. No porn allowed. (It's his mind, right?)

At least from what I've seen... He's the only one who gets way beyond "we need to work with the UN and internationalize the effort" and speaks with depth and detail.

I love him, too!

He is doing a great job on these media programs. Edwards dose not have to time to go on TV all the time because he is finishing his term in the Senate.

Keep up the good work General Wes Clark!

32. I agree with Dookus
I supported Clark in the Draft movement and he is the best candidate in my lifetime, almost 50, but more important he just gave us so much hope. He actually made you feel like there was a chance in the world today. He is incredibly sincere in person, I posted earlier on DU how he treated my veteran father. I miss him for that reason, I hope he is the vp or in the new administration.

30. Wes is a voice in the Wilderness
He just makes so much sense out of this entire mucked up mess. No one else speaks about the Iraq & Al Queda situation vis a vis terrorism, as concisely as Wes.He is able to explain the military, political, strategic situation for the average viewer.

God, I miss him!!!

35. Clark really has a handle on the Iraq situation
Saw him on Newsnight and he really understands the Iraq issues. On the campaign trail he wasn't as convincing on other issues. But that was not unexpected given his background.

As VP he could easily take up the mantle of the guy who can help the US extracate itself from the Bush's Iraq mess.

37. I'm hoping for a Kerry/Clark ticket.
He's superb. Knows his stuff, smart enough to learn new skills. He'd be excellent as VP. I think him being on the ticket would completely politically diffuse the GOP claim that * is stronger on defense.

42. Sadly, no. Kerry's list is McCain, Edwards, Vilsak, Gep, & Richardson
Party regs are pushing Edwards, Kerry's talking privately w/McCain, and Gephardt is working the rumor circuit. Gephardt, by the by, will not be the nominee. Equal odds on the other four, however.

38. When he brought up Chalabi I cheered! Once again he it the nail on
the head and went where no one has gone before...

The ties between Chalabi and this Administration....ooooooh, what a can of worms, begging to be opened up for the masses... And it was Wes who went there.

We can't win militarily, but we can LOSE..............

If this isn't the next VP, I will gag. The governor of Iowa vs Wes Clark???
I don't think so.............
