Poll question: If You Were In Charge Of U.S. Foreign Policy...
Which area of the world would you work to find conflict resolutions in?

By that I mean, which hotspot would be your main priority and one you believe the U.S. should address immediately?

1. Being the cause of success in Israel/Palestine
Would lead to FAR better relations for the U.S. throughout the Middle East. Of course, that would mean stepping on Israel's toes slightly and there's no way we could ever conceive of doing that. :eyes:

2. I voted Iraq
and my immediate priority woul dbe to leave.

Then, of course, Palestine/Israel would be the top priority. As long as that situation remains fundamentally the same, there will be no peace in the world.

3. I would start by officially ending all ties to Israel
Then I would pull all troops out of Iraq immediately.

4. obviously at this point, it's Iraq...
thanks to the lil'dictator's war of american aggression.

Africa comes in second or third, depending on whether "global warming" is considered a foreign policy matter.

5. I voted "Other" for a radical new plan.
Let's try NOT attempting to address everybody's else's problems for a year or two. We cause trouble wherever we go. We have zero credibility now. When the U.S. shows up on somebody's doorstep, it is a liability not a benefit.

Imagine spending a few billions on humanitarian aid and insisting that it be distributed fairly.

Then in a few years we could go back to meddling.

Of course, this would mean cutting loose all the businesses and corrupt governments throughout the world that support the U.S., and that will never happen.
