Worse Than Watergate is selling out... |
|
I went to B&N at 15th street and 75 in Plano (TX), and they were sold out. Then went to Borders at Park and Preston and I bought the last one. :)

1. That's where I bought mine |

Preston and Royal Borders.
There were several copies left back in Political Science when I got my copy. There were none in the front.

Clarke's book was very fair, reasoned, and professorial. Dean's book is, of course, well reasoned, but he's more like BAM, BAM, BAM. I loved it. It was cathartic.

2. Bought mine from Amazon. |
|
Should get it tomorrow! Can't wait!!!!
I've heard Dean on several shows. I think he has credibility because of his past outing of Nixon and of course being part of a Repub admin.

we will have to meet for lunch. Two DUers in Plano Texas? Priceless. Get this - at work I often call an Illinois account and tell them this is Susan calling from Plano Texas - they thought for the longest time I was saying PLAIN OLD TEXAS.
P.S. I live in an apartment; I'm not one of those weathy West-Planoers. :o

8. Yall should have a major DU meetup/barbeque/margarita fest there :) |
|
I come from Dallas and I know how conservative it is.
I grew up in a family with Republican ties and a sibling who has worked for the Bush family. It can get pretty lonesome in those parts and tough to find much diversity, thats for sure.
I bet you guys would greatly benefit by doing some connecting/bonding in DU brother/sisterhood**!
Get a meetup going or just plan a hook-up with DUers.
Its good for the soul.**** :)
