So whose running the war?
Remember back in October, 2003 when Bu$h announced that he was deputizing National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice to head up an "Iraq Stabilization Group"? This is the point that the WH took control of the war and W put Condi in charge. So far this idea has turned out to be another miserable failure.

Now consider that Condi has been probably spending the last week preparing for her testimony for the 9-11 Commission, as well as prepping W and Cheney for their appearances, because they all need to sing from the same page, who the hell is minding the store?

If Condi who is supposed to be in charge of running the Iraq War but is too distracted, isn't this a dereliction of duty? Considering the fact that things have certainly gone from bad to worse since last October, shouldn't Condi at least be undeputized and give control back to the Pentagon?

Back in the real world, someone this incompetent, who has made such major blunders, would have lost their job as soon as 9-11 happened. But that was before we started living in the Twilight Zone.

PS: And will the deteriorating condition in Iraq be used for an excuse for any of them to bail out on testifying?
