George W: "Condi, don't bore me with the details, just get the bazooka. I don't have the patience or the intellectual curiousity to become a student of the middle east, I just want to take aim and blow something up"
George W: "Condi, I don't want to negotiate with the UN or with the nations of the world...it takes too much effort...I would have to use my brain...I might have to focus, to concentrate...I might have to compromise. And, you know, in order to negotiate or to compromise, you have to know what you're doing."
George W: "Condi, what's the trouble with Powell? He thinks too much...he's too careful...too thoughtful. I like what Dick and Wolfie tell me...they say that I'm a big man...the most powerful man in the world...I have all this muscle...I can do anything I want to do and I'm gonna do what they tell me to do because it feels good and I've always liked feeling good and I don't have to think too much."
It takes some effort to swat a fly. It takes patience and concentration and maybe a few tries before you succeed...not so with a bazooka...that approach is easy but it destroys more than just the fly...
We have a spoiled, intellectually lazy, macho guy in the White House who is the King of short cuts, who is a patsy for the fawners and flatterers...especially if they are smarter and more disciplined than he is...they had a grand plan...he had a glad hand, a family name, a quick smile and no substance ... no substance at all. We have a guy who has never had to do anything on his own...under his own steam...with his own brainpower...in his life. Everything has been handed to him and it has been his habit to accept it...without question...especially if it fels good and if it is easy. We, alas, have the King of the free ride.
Too, too sad for the 9/11 families and for every family who has lost a young one in Iraq...too sad for words for this great country...

1. it still boggles my mind |
|
that my governor, the stupid, incompetent, lazy, insipid, moronic SOB Bush, actually became our "president". It's just unbelievable. I've never accepted him as my president and I never, ever will.

3. So, Then Why Are We Spending All The Resources to Get Osama? |
|
Wouldn't he be considered just another fly?
Oh I forgot, Osama's not important anymore, oh, I mean, of course he is, oh, well, maybe he's not, shit, I don't know...
