Help on the Fed'l Budget, Spending, "Discretionary spending; Soc Sec'ty |
|
Does anyone know of any sites or resources (preferable online, but any recommendation is good) that explains the Federal Budget and tells how much is spent on defense, "discretionary" spending, social security etc..
Obvioulsy, BushCO is upping the defense budgets and running up record deficits and in an attempt to "get the deficit down" is cutting "discretionary" spending. It's just, in part, a re-distribution of assets and wealth to put the money into the owner and officers of the large defense companies and take it away from other places like education, social programs, etc.
I was just wondering if there are any sites or resources that discuss the actual numbers of the budget, the numbers on defense spending, the numbers on "discretionary" spending and how those numbers are being re-distributed under BushCO??

from what I've read, discretionary spending on practically every program has soared under republican rule...this has true conservatives pissed at bush.
