Favorite form of death, destruction and degredation

By virtue of the mob mentality, every other conversation pertaining to social issues has been shut down...so let's all talk about death and destruction.

We can evaluate the attitudes, suppression and mob mentality that led it it even being possible at some more convenient time that is more condusive to dialogue.

What's your preferred topic concerning death, destruction and degredation?

I just recently started reading an Erich Fromm book titled, "The Anatomy of Human Destructiveness".

I'm not too far in, but one of the questions is "Is destructiveness instinctive?"

There is some discussion about Freud and the Life Instinct and the Death Instinct.

Another thing is the idea that people in civilizations get more violent, not less, as the civilization develops. I don't know if there is enought evidence to know.
