Bush lied. They KNOW the WMD are out there and we'll find them right before the election, and Bush will win in a landslide and pave the way for Jeb and Condi to win in 2008. The few who think he might have "twisted the truth" a little, say who cares, because we got rid of Saddam and liberated the Iraqi people and brought them freedom and ice cream parlors. According to freepers, Clinton lied every time he spoke. I've never been able to figure out the damage Clinton's lies did, and freepers aren't intelligent enough to even understand the difference between Clinton's lies and Bush's lies.

Bush's lies have cost many lives and were used only to help him politically. Clinton on the other hand, come on lets get real, who hasn't lied about getting a BJ from a fat chick?

5. I HAVE SOME CONSERVATIVE FAMILY MEMBERS AND |
|
they say Clinton's lies are more heinous because he lied about Monica "under oath." Oh dear, where is my fainting couch. Bush, by contrast has done no such thing. When I point out that Bush is on vacation half of the time, refuses to hold press conferences, and won't talk to the 911 commission unless he holds hands with his boyfriend/vice president, I get blank stares from the conservative wing of my family. Fortunately, my dad has converted and is totally embarassed that he supported Bush. There is hope!!!

to tell the truth. bush has never told the truth; I believe he is incapable of telling the truth.

|
You can't prove Bush was lying! He might have really believed it! But some Dummycrap people in the intelligence community wanted to bring him down! Plus Clinton had the same intelligence! Clinton wanted to get rid of him too! And how do you know the weapons haven't been moved to Syria? They hate us too! And so do you, you traitorous wretch!
And besides, Our Glorious President is a Christian! Would a good Christian President lie?

Clinton and Gore were/are both Southern Baptists. One of the mainstays of the Southern Baptist faith is "once saved always saved," yet here all these conservatives said that Clinton couldn't be "saved" because of his sexual infidelities. Well what about all those televangelists that have been caught with their shorts down, but later reaccepted into the fold?? Heck, at the church we went to for a very short while, the preacher's wife had an affair with a deacon (yes it was a Baptist church). Everyone welcomed her back with open arms, yet Bill committed the unforgivable crime of doing the same thing the preacher's wife did.

17. His only unforgiveable crime was that his election interrupted |
|
their take-over of the world. They were all set to put PNAC in play and he screwed it up. Had nothing whatsoever to do with sex. Had to do with making everyone sick and tired of partisanship and the impeachment process so that when the traitorous Bush Crime Family went for the brass ring, no one would make a peep.

7. clinton's lie was 100% self-serving; not in the nation's interest at all |
|
whereas bush can at least advance an argument. as could oliver north. these people can make the argument that what they did, and the lies the told, were actually in the nation's interest.
clinton's lie about monica was 100% self-serving. he can't drape himself in a flag about that one.
that's (one of) the arguments, anyway.

They went there to steal the oil which is pretty damn self-serving, if you ask me. Clinton's lie was nothing. Should not have even come up. That's a pretty screwed-up argument.

I would lie too! Do you know who the poor guy is married to? No one wants to incur the wrath of Hillary!
No one will ever give a logical explanation of how that was worse than lying to start a war which killed hundreds of Americans and thousands of Iraqis.

she took it very well and I love Hillary. She's my Senator when in school in NY. But she's tough woman. She probably gives him hell every day for it. I would not be surprised if she divorces him before running for president.

I can't think of ONE time where bush has told the truth.
He has failed at everything he has ever done, and has NEVER been held to account, he is a pschopathic liar, I don't think he is capable of telling the truth.
My point is, can you or anyone else point to a TRUTH he has spoken?

Clinton's lies are heinous, while Bush's "misstatements" rang With caring for our country While Clinton's were about his wang.
Why BUSH would never lie to *us*! Impossible to contemplate! Clinton lied near every day, Or so the Repubs do state.
We just haven't FOUND the WMD, That got us in this mess! But THEY aren't nearly as dangerous As that hideous stained blue dress!
But the contrast between the men Shows that they BOTH lied to us! C Bill CLAIMED he never used his Dick, And George, we *know* he does!

This whole "who lied to who" thing really has nothing to do with lying. It has to do with rendering a presidency ineffective, and trying to set your party up for the next election. The Democrats do it too, to a degree. Of course, in 2004, they have an excuse.
All other things being equal, Clinton got a blow job, which did not harm the country. Bush ain't gettin' blow jobs (can't imagine anyone outside of Ann Coulter who'd give him one), but every lie he tells, he tells to help his buddies at the expense of the country. I don't walk into the voting booth wondering if the guy I vote for is gonna be gettin a blow job. If anyone should have been impeached, it should've been Bush.
This is pretty much republican strategy during a democratic presidency. Get everyone sidetracked on an unimportant issue, to derail the "liberal agenda" in Congress. Health care suffers, Social Security suffers, the country suffers, all so these cranks can set themselves up for the next election. If you can do these things, how much concern do you really have for America? And yet 50% of the electorate wants to re-elect them. Kafkaesque.
