QUESTION OF VITAL INTEREST |
|
assuming from now on, the polls continue to drop for $ to around 35 or so and remain that way till November election
And than $ wins the election by a comfortable majority
could anyone tell me if the polls results will have any relevance in this virtually horrible situation , I mean if they could be used as standard to assess the credibility of the elections
and is there any historical example where this happened and how people dealt with it

1. any win for * will be hailed as a mandate |

even if he "wins" because of the court or any other way...the polls will be virtually irrelevant, you'll see chimp, dick, and the rest of the orgers prancing around the country, acting as if they got 100% of the popular vote

If that happens, all the pundits will declare that the pollsters were wrong, not that the machines were rigged.
Bush cheated in 2000 through Katherine Harris' purge of thousands of legal voters. But that is rarely discussed on television. The pundits act as if Bush is legitimate.
