Ted Koppel made that announcement at the end of his segment on John O'Neill on Nightline tonight.

12. Don't forget to set your VCR or TiVo |
|
for this show.
I've heard about it for months so it must be worth saving.

Koppel also suggested we watch Peter Jennings World News tonight. He apparently will be doing a piece on a FBI whistleblower. Not sure which one it will be but should be interesting. If it's Edmonds, look out! :D

I was so excited about the Frontline announcement that I didn't even hear the Peter Jennings reference.
Thanks.

I think we all did. But it's so relevant now, I applaud PBS for replaying it.

It's going to shown on WTTW Channel 11 tonight at 8:00 PM CDT. I think I saw this when it aired originally, but I'm going to tape it anyway for friends and family that are out of town right now. Can't wait!!!

31. is there something wrong with me? that show BIT it BIG! |
|
watch it tonight, and keep track of how much time they spend on his personal life: his mistress, his celebrity status at Elaine's, his sartorial splendor, his expensive tastes in other things, his problems within the FBI bureaucracy (tangentially important to his investos, and why he quit, but all of this crap ran out the clock on the important aspects of his search for terra, rendering the overall effect, to me, less than helpful)
tell me what you learn from this show that you haven't already found out here.
sure, it'll be helpful to those that don't know who he is, but it does not appreciably advance the cause of finding out what happened, in my eyes
some interesting info on Yemen, and the horrible ambassador (REpublican, btw, which I found out much later, unless I wasn't listening when I saw it....that's very possible....who knows)
so, did anyone else see it before, and come away very disappointed?
