Thanks, Bill Clinton, for my tax refund!
Well, I'm getting almost $1000 tax refund, and I have ZERO children! How did this happen, and why am I not touting the Bush tax cuts for my good fortune?

If I had to depend on W's tax cut, all I would've gotten was a lousy $50 back. Fortunately, I picked 2003 to return to school. The majority of my refund comes from the Hope tax credit, which was started under BILL CLINTON!

Thanks Bill!

10. That's $2000 + interest added to your children's debt.
You should be outraged. I am.

12. Yes. I am very outraged.
But my outrage doesn't supersede my need for $2000 right now.

to the US Treasury. Reduce the deficit!!! Undo the harm Bush has done!!! Don't be a hypocrit by actually increasing the deficit like Bush wants you to do!!! You might as well vote for Bush.

19. You can mail me $666 of it...
In 2002 I made $43,000 working two jobs and got $300 back. In 2003 I made $48,000 working two jobs, paid $400 more through withholdings, and need to send in another $666. And they said Dumbass cut taxes.

I redid my taxes for the hell of it using last year's income and withholding numbers and had to send in $350 under those numbers.

That's what you get for being childless.

17. Nice try. A straw man. How quaint.
The tax burden has to be equitable - just because it's idiotic policy it doesn't mean we have to bear an even larger burden. And the competition is not even between individuals - even if W got back more than I own.
60% of corporations pay no taxes - how happy does THAT make you?

4. That is so twisted, displaying such a bizarre thought process...
...you could easily work for the White House. All sarcasm aside, there is an uncomfortable amount of truth in what you say.

5. yeah I got $500 back
I'm not sure who was responsible though. I'm a college student and don't own property or have any dependents. I'll probably send it to Kerry if I get a job soon.

11. Sending your refund to Kerry still increases the deficit.
Send your refunds/rebates back to the US Treasury. If we all do this, it will reverse Bush's tax cut and reduce the deficit!!!

I even got my mom, who voted for *, to send Kerry a check. It's the only way to save the country from the current CIC, Clown in Command.

It showed our children and grandchildren having to work off the Bush tax cut. How can you keep your rebate and refund after knowing these facts from moveon???

26. You aren't fooling anyone.
uPUtting the money back into the treasury is a mistake because Bush will just continue his reckless spending.

The solution lies in electing a responsible leader to reign in spending and return to more equitable taxation.

Kerry, not Bush, will be that leader.

Bush, like Reagan before him, created irresponsible deficits. Kerry, like Clinton before him, will clean up a mess created by irresponsible GOP policies.

25. I figure my tax reduction savings
will equal my investment losses since Chimpy's nomination

in about 400 years. Fortunately, I expect that Bush environmental legacy will ensure that my life will be over long before that evil day.

That's why I'm glad we have King George keeping us happy!
