New Poll on Iraq - 57% say war in Iraq has increased the risk of terrorism
in the United States. It's the Annenberg Survey of adults with some interesting results. A mere 29% say the war in Iraq has reduced the risk of terrorism in the US (the die-hard * support.) Now really. Who's going to vote for someone who you think has INCREASED the risk of terrorism?

1. I'd agree with that.
I wish we would have put all this effort into finding Osama instead.

4. And that is 57 percent of those
who actually think. If everybody thought about it, it would be 97 percent.

7. 29% say it's reduced the risk of terrorism in the US.
That's an awfully low number for 700 military deaths, 15,000 Iraqi deaths, 150 billion US dollars, and the scorn of the world. It's hardly worth it to the others who say it's of no difference to the risk of terrorism.

This is nothing to celebrate.

who'da thunk it ...

surely nobody can hold bush responsible for this ... how could anyone have forseen that invading a muslim country, threatening their religious leaders, selling out to chalabi, trying to allow western corporations to exploit Iraq's resources, and on and on could have lead to more hatred for the united snakes ...

go figure ...
