Just got back from the City, and there are Air America posters
all over Grand Central, Times Square, etc. They just blanketed the fucking place. It's pretty cool, actually.

1. Fantastic. For those of us in the sticks, I am guessing that the "City"
means NY?

4. Indeed. That's what we "bridge and tunnel" crowd call it
By bridge and tunnel--what the Manhattanites call us--I mean Long Island, NJ, and CT

3. MSNBC goes all liberal, all the time
I'm loving Air America, and pray (to dog) that it will be ultimately successful.

... and my current delusion is that MSNBC will see the light, quit trying to be FOX-Lite, and go all liberal, all the time. Matthews will be the farthest-right commentator they have, and Scarborough will be looking for a new job... along with W.

(Though, honestly, I'd like to see Matthews gone, as well, in favor of a team with a modicum of journalistic integrity.)

I was gettin' all excited and stuff! But then we have KPFA and are already well informed (if 'we' choose to be).

it is the City, for there can be only one. if you *need* to be more specific we'd say, '*sigh* y'know, the City by the Bay?'

13. You mean it's not Fargo?
I bet there's more total square mileage that consider Fargo "The City" than consider NYC "The City.
