Does/has anyone here bought prescription drugs from Canada?

What was your experience as to the service like? I need a prescription that my insurance will not pay for and it is $125/prescription dose which I can't afford to pay for. Any feedback would help me out. Thanks!

4. I have and it was very easy

Of course, we provided a phone number for the doctor and faxed a copy of the prescription. This was for heart medication and diabetes; don't know if requirements differ for other drugs. We paid about one-third on one, and one-half on another. The scripts were shipped within a week, I think; I thought very fast.

Quality the highest, great service. Order a three-month supply at one time.Prescriptions will cost more now because the dollar is lower, but should save 45-50%. Have lost the name of the company he recommended.Generics available at similar savings,if there is one.

6. My folks buy from Mexico

They go down once a year and fill prescriptions and buy over the counter stuff. They said it was all exactly the same stuff they bought here and WAY cheaper. If you live near the border or know someone who does.

8. I get mine there.

I ordered mine from a place I found on the Internet. The procedure is: get a prescription from your doctor (90 day supply x 1 year). Mail it to the pharmacy in Canada. A doctor there rewrites the prescription (may call your doctor for verification), and it's mailed to you. It works well but you have to allow some time. I save about 1/3 over the best cost I can find locally.

Some states have checked out pharmacies in Canada and list them on the State Web site. Check this one out.
