It appears that Chimpy resents his dad, IMO.

4. I don't get Woodward AT ALL... |
|
hee seems to play everywhere and nowhere. Could we get ONE STRAIGHT opinion out of him? If we wanted a journalist, we buy newspapers. Doesn't a book require one to do more than psuedo report?

6. That was very strange. Tweety didn't let him answer just when it started |
|
to sound like something good was going to pop out of Woodward's mouth.
Everytime Woodward started to give a little more info, Tweety would sidetrack him.
I still find it hard to believe that Chimp sat with him and let Woodward ask a hundred questions. How can we believe that the most secretive President in history (according to Helen Thomas) would sit down with the reporter who brought down Repug Tricky Dick and bare his soul.
He also said that Rumsfeld wasn't pushing for war (can we really believe that) and that the NeoCons (as Matthews calls them) were not calling the shots. Then at the end he says that Bush doesn't have "ANY doubts at all" about his decision to invade Iraq. Matthews said none and then starts raving about how "tough" Bush is...and Woodward says something like in this time of terrorism that's what you want someone who is firm and believes in their decision without any hesitation. (I probably garbled that last statement from Woodward) but it seemed he was pushing the Bush mantra of how Bush is a "great leader on Terrorism and in War and so tough he never questions his decisions." Then Tweety compares him to Truman! Hasn't Tweety just about run out of Democratic Presidents and a few Repug ones to compare Chimp to?
Tweety makes me sick. I wonder if Woodward will be on C-Spans Book Notes. I'd rather listen to him there than on Larry King or Matthews. :puke: But, I think Woodward is working to keep him in office.
What did you think?

7. That is what makes tweety unwatchable... |
|
He will not let anyone answer a question fully or finish a complete thought without interrupting.
It seems Woodward is running a con job. Rumsfeld wanted war with Iraq a long time ago.
Neo-Cons are calling the shots.
Bush decided on war long before Woodward's assertion.
And so on, and so on.
You are correct, KoKo, Woodward is working to keep him in office.

That "no regrets" thing made me scream, too! Can't these people tell the difference between being "tough" and being STUPID?
