You can't expect every letter to the editor to be in regards to the WAR because hell, most Americans don't seem to believe we are in a war, but just "killing terrorists who attacked us."
Today a letter was printed in my paper where a writer was complaining about shopping carts hitting her car. Then there was the usual back and forth of Darwinism/vs/ID letters...
If only the photos of grieving Iraqi's and their burials of civilians including CHILDREN were shown in the American media...
Americans need to see the casualties from both sides. Hell! they don't see the casualties ever of our soldiers!
War can not be sanitized!

that the general population has to make. During WWII, gas was rationed, shoes were rationed, and people held scrap metal drives and saved grease. Every little town vied to sell the most Victory Bonds, and they were given a lot of press coverage when they did.
We really aren't being asked to sacrifice anything (because Shrub is sure that will get him kicked out of office if his followers can't drive their SUVs), so Joe Sixpack doesn't think of war, and Mrs. Sixpack complains of migrating shopping carts.

Where are the excellent American photogs and reporters?
Where are you folks? I'm sick of hearing that they are bought out by big Media, well, doesn't anyone exist outside?
