Well, the guy is lucky that he got $3,850 for the dress. My ex left with the engagement ring, her wedding dress, the microwave and left me with a ton of debt, most of which was hers from before we married… Being the sucker, I mean nice guy, that I am, I refinanced my house to get extra money to pay off her debts, buy her a car (which she kept as well)… And, when she left, she said I was lucky that she did not max ALL the credit cards…

But, in regards to the dress, she was barely 5 feet tall, if that, and overly well endowed for her size, so I doubt her size 2/4 dress would have fit many if I had had it to sell. About the only thing she left was some old clothes which I eventually gave to charity for the tax writeoff.

Luckily, because of her running up so much debt, I did not have to pay any alimony and I got to keep the house which I had from before marriage. I did have to take a second job to help myself with the debt and near-maxed credit cards and, through hard work, I am in great shape financially now…. And, 5 years later, I still get calls from creditors looking for my ex, as she has obviously not stopped spending since she left. Thankfully, we did not have any children.

4. He's a DUer? He sold his ex-wife's dress on E-Bay.

Can't remember his name. He was on the Today Show this morning and on Countdown this evening.
He and his wife split. He wanted money to go to a ball game, so he sold her dress on EBay. Modeled it himself as a gimmick. Got good money for the dress, a couple of proposals, some offers for sex and lots of attention. I think I heard he maxed out the bidding -- overflowed the dollar amount bid. -- or something like that.

My question is: How does the person who started this thread know he is a DUer?

I don't remember his name, but he posted in the lounge, about what he was doing and his ex-wife and the dress and everything. The guy is a DUer, I'm telling you.
