Masterful execution, but I imagine too close to "reality" for most of the so called "Liberal Media" to print.

... I just saw that in the Guardian over lunch (in UK) - I actually laughed out loud, and drew some stares in the bar...
Poor B.D., it's exactly what I would say.

5. The last panel is absolutely brilliant |
|
the contrast between our knowing and her not, along with his comment, is both humorous (I laughed) and moving...

6. O'Reilly was really going off about this last night |
|
He thought that Gary Trudeau was profitting off of our soldiers. As usual, the guy rebutting him didn't have time to get out a decent answer. He was also pissed off about 60 Minutes doing a story about how some of our soldiers tortured some Iraqi prisoners.
Gee, my interpretation of this story in "Doonesbury" was that the artist was trying to get reader sympathy for the plight of our soldiers.
I don't usually watch O'Reilly, but I was flipping through channels and caught his lunacy.

He profits off of stupidity and misery every day.
Hell, he CAUSES it.

You know, for a short period I has placed MacGruder's "Boondocks" above Trudeau.
What was I thinking?!? :wtf: :wtf:
Don't get me wrong: Boondocks kicks ass, but Trudeau is still the Master and Reigning Champ.

14. Garry Trudeau deserves a medal |
|
for his work, for all his years of dutiful truthtelling through dead-on satire. And to cap it off with this BD series? Astounding.
Garry Trudeau gets better and better. Here's to you Garry.
