The DU Investigation Suggestions Thread for "Mike"
Hey DU,
Bev Harris has informed us that a Secret Service
agent named Mike has been given a rather
silly assignment, to follow her around, try to
get her computer data, and such.
Now, being a compassionate person,
I feel rather sorry for Mike, knowing he is
probably made fun of by his superiors for
having been given such a silly job.
It must be hard for him to have to investigate
a WOMAN, who has actually investigated something
of importance- our voting rights.

I have posted to Mike on another thread, started
by Bev, that perhaps we can help him regain his
integrity by making suggestions to him regarding
situations that we know of that NEED investigating
I suggested he find out who outted Valerie Plame
among a few other things-
Please list your suggestions for Mike on this thread.
You can "DU" it Mike!
We will help you!

Your DU Friend,
BHN

1. ahh Poor Mike, here's an idea
Hey Mike! why don't you "accidentally" leave some memo's around for Bev that show the FBI is spending it's time propping up the NeoCon regime and finding ways to disable the Bill of Rights. Then we can "leak" them to the press

just a thought

3. Great Idea!
But Mike would probably feel better if he
did it on his own- it might be hard on his
masculinity to have to rely on Bev to reveal his
findings...

60. I think should use his badges to keep you from getting parking tickets
He could just watch your car where ever you go, and sort of take care of it for you.

In fact, think of the taxpayer money you could save if you and Mike just carpooled?

I'd draw the line at making up the couch for him, however.

2. investigation into the 2000 Florida election
* why were tens of thousands of black Floridians wrongly identified as felons and not allowed to vote?

* why was there no state or federal criminal investigation into the above?

* why did most of the press refuse to cover the above story? were they intimidated by the Florida or federal governments?

* why did the Supreme Court of the US agree to hear a state recount case that was out of their jurisdiction?

49. Um, that's easy, TrogL...
We are having a secret trade war with Canada. Above the trade table we are smiling at one another, sometimes with obvious pain because underneath the table we are kicking one another in the shins.

Furthermore it is the policy of the Bush Administration to ignore science in favor of politics. They believe the United States is such a Great and Powerful bastion of Christianity that God will bend the rules for US and everything will turn out all right.

But let's talk to you, Mike--

I'm a very nice guy, as you can see from my picture:

(I thought you'd appreciate this picture, TrogL!)

My house is always a mess, CDROMs and printouts scattered all over the place, a lot of them having to do with the BBV issue. But even if you came with a truck and hauled the entire lot away, I don't think you'd find anything that would interest you, only a lot of evidence that many of the electronic voting machine vendors are up to no good.

Like, DUH!

If the big electronic voting machines vendors were actually interested in clean elections they would fix their problems and send "Thank You" notes and job offers to all the activists, while groveling on their knees and begging the forgiveness of our election officials and the voting public at large. The would never say shit like "We're sorry we got caught." My sons both realized that was a bad answer almost as soon as they learned to talk.

So Mike, are you going to haul away my BBV crap and old computers? You would make my wife very happy, and once the truck was loaded we could drink beer on the veranda and talk about the lives of true patriots, and pity the poor trash picker who has to sort through and catalog the mess, including the corpse of an unfortunate mouse who died in that old 386-SX I was using for a firewall, and a few nice jpegs of Sally Rand and Hedy Lamar, who once remarked, "Any girl can look glamorous. All you have to do is stand still and look stupid."

I imagine working for the Secret Service is often a glamorous job.

How come we never got the beep beep the day of 9/11.
Why was Bush comfortable reading about goats while we were under attack?
Why isn't the 9/11 commission asking questions like this?
Mike do you get paid very much to harrass We the People?
And last but not least, if you get tired of Bev, how about chasing around and keeping up with the 97 year old granny who just got locked up for parking tickets in Texas.

23. Mike, there is some other missing money maybe you could help with.
Where did the 9/11 emergency funds go?

April 26, 2004

Dear Mr. President,

On Sept. 14, 2001, just three days after the tragic events of September 11, the Congress of the United States established a $40 billion Emergency Response Fund to assist the victims of those terrorist attacks and to strengthen homeland and national security.

In response to the extraordinary events of that day, the Congress chose to grant an extraordinary amount of flexibility to the Executive Branch. However, the terms of the law were clear. Namely, the president was required by law to keep the Congress fully informed through consultation with the chairmen and ranking members of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees prior to the expenditure of funds. Also, the administration was required by law to provide Congress with quarterly reports detailing the use of these funds.

To the best of our knowledge, as the chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee and the ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee during 2002, we were provided no consultations by the White House, as required by law, about the use of the $20 billion of funds that were made available to the president for allocation. If this is not an accurate view, please advise us of any record of consultations with Appropriations Committees of the House of Representatives and the Senate, as was required by statute prior to the expenditure of these funds.

We have numerous concerns about the administration's stewardship of these funds. According to a recent book by Bob Woodward entitled Plan of Attack, the White House used $700 million of appropriated funds in 2002 to prepare bases in the Persian Gulf region for an attack on Iraq. The Department of Defense has confirmed that $178 million that was transferred from the $40 billion Emergency Response Fund was used in the summer of 2002 for "Supporting the global war on terrorism" in Kuwait, Qatar and other nations in the Persian Gulf region, several months before Congress approved the Iraq war resolution. These funds were spent on 21 projects. We have no record of consultation prior to the expenditure of these funds, nor is there sufficient detail in the Department of Defense quarterly reports to indicate whether funds were used to prepare for the war in Iraq.

In addition, the administration has failed to effectively manage the September 11 Emergency Response Fund. The law required the Office of Management and Budget to report to the Congress on a quarterly basis on the uses of the fund. Yet Congress has not received such a report for nearly one year. The last report was sent on May 9, 2003, reflecting obligations through Feb. 28, 2003, some 14 months ago.

On Sept. 30, 2003, the administration notified Congress of the allocation of $290 million from the Emergency Response Fund. to support the government in Afghanistan. In the transmittal, the director of the Office of Management and Budget indicated that the funds would be drawn from funds previously allocated to the Department of Defense. Yet the May 9, 2003 OMB quarterly report indicated that as of Feb. 28, 2003, DoD had already obligated all but $21 million of its funds. While we had objection to the support for the government of Afghanistan, your report begs the question, from whence came the money? Further, why has there been no quarterly report since May 9, 2003?

On March 12, 2004, the administration transferred $4 million from the Emergency Response Fund to finance a Commission on the Intelligence Capabilities of the United States Regarding Weapons of Mass Destruction. This commission was created, without authorization from Congress, by an executive order that does nothing to guarantee the panel's independence from the White House, and that does not endow the commission with the power to subpoena necessary information from potentially uncooperative witnesses. Again, there was no consultation with the Congress, as required by law, prior to the allocation of these funds.

When the Congress provided the extraordinary authorities in response to the Al Qaeda attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, it expected that tax dollars would be managed carefully so as to provide assistance to the victims of the attack, to secure our homeland and to improve our national security. The letter of the law and consultation with the Congress in the expenditure of appropriated funds provides our citizens with assurance that their tax dollars are spent in accordance with congressional intent. Transparency in this regard is critical. We need a full accounting of the entire $40 billion Emergency Response Fund.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

David R. Obey

30. Bev,...Since you have little time for household chores these days, perhaps
Mike could help you with the chores.. A little laundry, some dishes.. Hell, if he's a young one, you could be his "foster parents"..

Maybe it's not too late for him to get a "morality lesson".. There might still be time to turn his life around and make him a real citizen.. one who actually cares if the people who get the most votes actually get to take office..

Come on Mikie... You are on the "wrong team" this time, bud.. Bev's just trying to prevent a dictatorship..:)

PS.. Mike..

Wanna investigate a little more about our "feckless leader's" missing records (the ones that were shitcanned in Colorado)?

Or there's the one about the massive conflicts of interest that ABOUND in this adminsitration.. (That's an easy one)

Put your thinking cap on, little buddy.. There are so many things that deserve scrutiny..

46. Of course he does...
I'm sure Mike is a pretty nice guy, following orders,
trying to do his job.
The point of this thread is to try and be helpful
to Mike. If you think about it, when he signed up to
be a Secret Service agent, he probably had dreams
of serving his country in a very important way.
It isn't his fault that the country was over thrown by
corporate criminals whose intentions couldn't be
farther or more contrary to Mike's dreams.
By day, he may be forced to carry out his orders
to investigate Bev and DU, but after hours, perhaps
with our help, he can find meaning in his chosen
profession.
I am certain Mike is an okay guy, and just another
victim of the government. Let's face it, there are no
jobs in America, as many of us know- maybe Mike
really needs to keep his job.
Remember, he is one of us, a fellow American,
just trying to get by.
I really do empathize with him, because I am
sure he has integrity issues, and those are the
worst when you are trying to get to sleep at night.
There is nothing worse that the moment you realize
that your dreams are so very far from the reality
you live every day.

Did he properly report it?

Who was the SEC's regional conselor who decided not to persue it? Did he have any ties to the Bush family?

52. Here it is...
The Secret Service - It would appear that the Secret Service have acquired yet another new role under George W. Bush. Along with protecting the president and busting down the doors of junior satirists (see Idiots Week 6), they are also required to pick up underage alcoholics from the local drunk tank. After the recent TCU booze-up, Jenna Bush's "boyfriend" William Ashe Bridges (Nash to his friends) was thrown in jail for public intoxication. Four hours later, Secret Service agents showed up in a black Chevy Suburban, bailed him out, and give him a ride home. Now this may seem an unusual way of spending the public's tax dollars, but think about it - bearing in mind this guy's connections, it's entirely possible that the Secret Service were just protecting our future president! Nash Bridges in 2032!

55. I've gone public about a murderer that has claimed government immunity
since 1969, Mike. This guy is well known to decent law-enforcement, he was the subject of two federal grand juries in Milwaukee in 1970.

The late Lt. Thelen of the Milwaukee Police Department knew this individual's record when I spoke to him in 1977, Mike.

Chuck Pederson of the Green Bay Police Department knows this individual.

The homeless activist, Karina O'Malley knows this individual, she even took him to Washington, DC.

Terry Anderson of the Green Bay Press Gazette knows this person, he even took a couple of photos of him (one from the 11-21-88 edition is great).

This person has stalked a living witness to murder for 35 years, a crime for which there is no statute of limitations.

I personally know this individual was involved in white slavery in 1969 and believe that grew along with his wetwork.

The day of national security protecting assassins and other criminals are done, right Mike?

I guess we should not ask the secret service on this one since they just help the Bush Admin keep their lies secret!

64. You callin' BEV a liar?
I do believe you know the thread that Bev
posted this morning, the one that inspired this one?
I thought I saw you offer your help to Bev on that one.
If I am wrong, I will fill you in with the fact that Bev said
the SS was reading everything we wrote.
That they had brought print outs of DU posts to
interviews with her.
The only name she specifically named, as far as
agents, was "Mike."
So we have this thread going to help him!
If Mike is not reading here, I would like to make it
clear that the offer is good to any SS agent
who feels guilty about spending our tax money
on worthless investigations.
Bev has not done anything wrong, Bev is
a TRUE patriot.
I am sure that was the intention of every SS
agent when they started in that career.
Unfortunately for them, their mission and
intentions were manipulated by the devious
men who stole our government.
We MUST try to offer them investigations
that merit their talent and actually
protect America! Like Bev has done...

Like investigating student's art projects.

http://www.wftv.com/news/3223988/detail.html

PROSSER, Wash. -- One drawing showed President Bush's head on a stick. Another depicted Bush as a devil launching a missile.

The drawings by a 15-year-old boy in Prosser, Washington, were enough to prompt some questions from the Secret Service.

Agents questioned the teen after being called by police. The boy's art teacher told school officials about the drawings, and they called police.

71. Mike, you are in the position of an SS Man assigned to Jews in 1938
Your mission is to break the back of the Jew Resistance and capture dtata from one of the Filthy Jewish Rats who are trying to besmirch our Beloved Fuhrer with their Scurrilous Lies regarding Voting Irregularities in the Nazi Plebiscite Vote of 1934.

Mike, YOU have to ask yourself an important question and that is "Will you follow orders to persecute the innocent and steal from them, too (how else do you intend to get her computer records?)

I am assuming that you are a Loyal SS Man, but are you an American or a Bushevik. As in Germany 1938, you cannot be both.

My suggestion to you is to think of all the Nazi SS Men like yourself who were "only following orders". They probably started out as you are now, by some light surveillance and records theft from Jewish Groups.

As with the Nazi SS Men, if you do that without question, conscience or remorse, you will then be asked to do more horrible things next time. Where will it stop? I don't know but you most assuredly WILL.

Before that happens, I would ask you to consider, like the Oskar Schindlers who pretended to help Totalitarian Monsters such as those who Grandpa Prescott Bush laundered Money for (yes, the Nazis), to throw the investigation and say it's too hard for you to break in and steal Bev's computer records.

Remember, Mike, history is watching and history does not subscribe to either Soviet Pravda or Faux "News" which closely resembles it.

You have to ask yourself are you an American or a Bushevik, because YOU CAN'T be both.

Be a Good and Decent person, Mike, and purpsoefull throw this investigation which you KNOW is being given to you for no criminal reason.

And think twice, Mike, if you receive orders to "suicide" Bev or kill her by small plane crash or giving her the "Karen Silkwood" treatment.

If Bev Harris dies mysteriously, then I promise you that Free America WILL be heard from.

88. Is that poppy field portrait still available?
Hi Mike,

If you are looking for something to do, can you answer the following questions for me?

How much money did Teresa LePore (of Florida Ballot infamy) make while employed as a flight attendant for Adnan Khashoggi – a Saudi arms dealer during Iran-Contra and a good business partner of the Bush Crime Family? How does the salary of a creepy female spook (LePore) make when compared to the salary of a creepy male spook? Please, don't forget to add in the value of all bribes, etc.

What’s the real story behind the meltdown of the GENI stock in Sept. 2001, and why take out a Minnesota brokerage firm in the deal? Any prominent democrats or republicans from Minnesota take a financial bath in that deal?

Finally, on a personal note, what’s the real story behind the store “House of Frames”--a small, art-framing business that was once open in Bloomington, Minnesota back in 2001? When I visited the House of Frames in spring/early summer of 2001, there was a neat portrait of a poppy field on “sale” for about $700. If the portrait is still available for sale, will the art student who painted it work with me on price?

Thanks!
