2. I would guess this is the Iraq poll they have been talking about for
a couple of days - not the US.

5. NO! This is Americans.
The good news is they realize it is unjust (more than before) but hey it's okay, cause our stocks went up! :grr:

It's still mindblowing
Why would Iraqi's say the war was good for families????!!!!

If anyone was still unsure as to whether we've gone through the looking glass yet - there's your answer!

13. They said the removal of Saddam was good for families
Not the war per say. It was also a very contradictory poll. One question was is it good that Americans are there. 67% said no then they asked is it good for your families. 51% said yes. I guess a shit sandwich would get a 50% approval rating if Bush* did the polling.

16. That explains a lot
The WAR is not good for families, but maybe they feel having soldiers there makes them safer. :(

9. Oh, thanks.
But it still makes no sense. The guerrilla war is killing as many families as Saddam was.

Gezus I thought it was Americans...

7. What?
What the hell does that even mean? War is unjustified but good for families? Yes, it's good that mom or dad or whomever is not coming home. What the hell are they talking about.

10. Another reason why I haven't watched Corporate TV Pravda for years
They are indeed assickening and Orwewllian as the original Soviet Pravda.

But they are more slick and camoflauged, owing to the interevening decades of "progress" in psychomanipulation and personality profiling.

11. I would think that families pretty much suffer the worst from any war.
Mothers bereaved. Houses blown up. Wageearners maimed. Daughters raped. You know, that kind of thing. WTF is up with our public, this "thinking".

12. I was corrected above that this is an Iraqi poll.
They are trying to squeeze any positive responses they can out of what is overwhelmingly bad news from the Iraqi's...the majority want us to leave.

I can't believe a majority thinks their families are safer today.
