Does Bush "look forward to" meeting w/1AD families who lost a loved one
today? The 1AD, stationed in and around Baumholder/Hanau/Wiesbaden Germany, was supposed to be home last month. The division was extended indefinitely in Iraq, and today, 8 of them died, 4 were wounded. What encouraging words will Generals Kimmitt, Pace, Bell and Dempsey have to say to the families whose lives have been destroyed by Bush's empty promises and these generals abysmal leadership?

Currently, every army soldier involved in Iraq is stop-lossed, or prevented from leaving the military, until 90 days after being redeployed home. Before the 1AD (to name just one division) was extended, soldiers wishing to separate from the military could have done so by July 1. Now that date has been extended to mid November, until after the elections.

How convenient for Bush. He can run on the pretense of high enlistment rates/high morale, right into election day, in an attempt to benefit off the broken backs of our troops and their families. Despicable. Bush is so low he could stand flat-footed and rape a turkey, known as "Rummy."
