WHOA! Bremer publicly critized bush administration on terror in Feb. 2001
Edited on Thu Apr-29-04 05:44 PM by Moonbeam_Starlight
Just reported on NBC Nightly News.

The quote was VERY damning. I am paraphrasing...he said this administration isn't dealing with possible terrorism, they will wait until some major incident happens to get organized, etc etc.

The whole quote is worse than what I can remember.....I will go see if I can find it on the net and edit this.

That's pretty bad.

Found a link here: http://www.davidsirota.com/

Here's Bremer's actual quote:

"The new administration seems to be paying no attention to the problem of terrorism. What they will do is stagger along until there's a major incident and then suddenly say, 'Oh, my God, shouldn't we be organized to deal with this?' That's too bad. They've been given a window of opportunity with very little terrorism now, and they're not taking advantage of it."

1. That has been around the net for a couple weeks
It just proves what Richard Clarke was saying. I'm glad the media picked it up.

2. David Sirota's appearance on the O' franken factor today......
pushed it to the mainstream news.

That is a good sign.

3. Can't find anything on it on the net
Do you know where I can find it?

Thanks! I hadn't heard it yet and was slack-jawed when Brokaw read it. It was so chilling......great foreshadowing.
