Remember when my ideas sounded crazier?
Those were the good old days.

I used to spout paranoid ideas like "the Bushies did 911 to whip us up into a fervor to go to war".

It's becoming clear that even the hosts on CoNN can see through the wool now. Neil Cavuto called Iraq a quagmire this morning. "What a quagmire" he said. The way each anchor read the details about the 911 comission, you could tell that they knew Bush was hiding something. Even Paula Zahn's loyal whoring efforts are unconvincing. Even she knows, now.

This 911 commission stonewalling is what finally broke the last of them. It is abundantly obvious that Bush and Cheney knew and allowed 911 to use as a catalyst for their energy wars. Otherwise, they would, as they said, "try to avoid even the appearance of impropriety."

I'm sorry - two guys that won't testify - do their JOB - separately, in public, and under oath - they're guilty.

Work your way backwards from the Iraq lies to 911. The pattern of deception by this administration is a constant. Everyone knows now. They may not admit it, but deep down inside, they know. We know what 911 was for.

Now go to AIDS. They don't want to save African lives. They want as many black people as possible DEAD. Thats why they are spreading rumors about condoms not working. In MK ULTRA, a FACTUAL conspiracy, they even wanted to find a mind weapon to make people "lazy and unproductive". This is institutionalized Eugenics.

Now go to assassinations. Why is it that lone nuts only shoot to the benefit of servants of money?

John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, John Lennon, Bob Marley. All political, all shot (Bob survived).

Reagan? Who would have been president if that were successful?

The plane crashes came into vogue. Paul Wellstone, accident? Give me a break. The anti war politician dies the day before the largest Anti-War rally ever?

And what ended the 60s? Manson, making the hippies out to be murderers. Was Manson part of MK Ultra?

I'll give you that some of them are factual at face value, but all of them? More of these unending coincidences?

John Mohammad. Why, when he heard the key words "Like a Duck in a Noose", did Americas most wanted man suddenly pull over at the nearest public place, put his wallet outside on the roof of his car and go to sleep? Why did the police feel confident telling the person they were lookig for that they knew what car he was driving? Especially since it had been established that he was paying close attention to the media coverage and reacting to it? If this were real - don't you think he would have dumped the car and hid out somewhere? Have you ever heard police invite the public to help them find an armed assassin? I never have.

All this stuff sounds conveniently paranoid, but each day that goes by each new news cycle makes it less and less crazy sounding that culture is manipulated by manufactured symbolic events that play upon the psychology of the masses.

4. This site is what it is
And never claimed to be anything other than what it is.

You can yell and scream all you want, but you're not gonna get a big mac at a Taco Bell.

7. Much of that makes sense to me, but
you lost me on John Mohammad. He was a nut for sure, but I don't think he was coordinated or directed. If anything, he embarrassed the * administration.

8. The whole thing seemed so surreal to me
Edited on Fri Apr-30-04 01:12 AM by Must_B_Free
I was in MD at the time too so it was essentially local. I was watching the whole apprehension live that night for hours. I kept thinking - this isn't how the police operate. I've never heard of them doing this before.

Rarely do they ever give into a terrorist's demand. Mohammad said specifically that he wanted them to read this odd phrase on TV - "I've got you caught like a Duck in a Noose" - you would NEVER hear those words, EVER in any conversation. It is so crazy it sounded like a key phrase.

Then the pursuit. Mohammad had demonsrated that he was listening to the media coverage because he was reacting to it. One day on TV they say, "well he hasn't done XYZ" and bam he goes and does it. So it was clear he was monitoring the news closely.

Now, if you're the police, and you are trying to apprehend this guy, are you going to go on live TV and announce "We know he's driving a blue 1990 Chevy Capri?" Hell No - you'd expect the perp to flee from the vehicle once you let them know that it had been identified. And if this case were real, Mohammad would not have stuck around a vehicle which he now knew the entire public was looking for. But what did he do? He pulled over in a rest stop off the turnpike, probably the most public place you can find, he put his wallet on the roof of the car, and he went to sleep.

Doesn't that just sound like a Manchurian candidate who has been trained to end the mission when he hears some certain key words? "When you hear the words 'like a Duck in a Noose', pull over and put your ID out so we can find you, then you will feel very sleepy..."

9. Hey, I knew 9/11 was suspicious that very day
That afternoon it sunk in. I knew that it was too perfect for what Bush needed, and I knew that it would be the best thing that ever happened to him.

Then he started talking about this "war on terror", and I knew that this country was fucked.

12. My 9-11 Story, by BKL
I printed out, and read, the original position papers of the PNAC about a month before 9/11. That list included Rebuilding America's Defenses, which includes this gem:
Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is
likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor.
(Rebuilding America’s Defenses, p. 51)
And then, I woke up on 9/11 to watch the second airliner crash.

I tried real hard to give Team Bush the benefit of the doubt and I waited to see if Bush would "rise to the occasion" like Rudy Giuliani did. No such luck. After his cowardly cross-country jet-hopping and his dumb-ass photo op four days later, I realized that one of the cornerstones of the PNAC plan had been laid -- on the crushed and burned bodies of the victims of 9/11.

13. Now cross reference that with Condi's 911 Panel Testimony
Edited on Fri Apr-30-04 01:26 AM by Must_B_Free
I felt she let the cat out of the bag when she said this:

Now, we have an opportunity and an obligation to move forward together. Bold and comprehensive changes are sometimes only possible in the wake of catastrophic events -- events which create a new consensus that allows us to transcend old ways of thinking and acting.

Just as World War II led to a fundamental reorganization of our national defense structure and to the creation of the National Security Council, so has September 11 made possible sweeping changes in the ways we protect our homeland.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/04/08/rice.transcript/

and

“We're changing the world.” Bush offered variations on the mantra five times during his session with the servile corporate press, April 13.

In GD there seem to be fewer professional advocats of the WH view.

...during the Oklahoma City bombing investigation was without merit. Nine years later, I may have been right.

Document: Oklahoma City Bombing Was Taped
By JOHN SOLOMON, Associated Press Writer
Mon Apr 19, 6:59 PM ET

WASHINGTON - A Secret Service document written shortly after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing described security video footage of the attack and witness testimony that suggested Timothy McVeigh (news - web sites) may have had accomplices at the scene.

"Security video tapes from the area show the truck detonation 3 minutes and 6 seconds after the suspects exited the truck," the Secret Service reported six days after the attack on a log of agents' activities and evidence in the Oklahoma investigation.

*SNIP*

An entry a day earlier on the same log reported that the security video was consistent with a witness' account that he saw McVeigh's getaway car in the lead before a woman guided the truck to its final parking spot in front of the Murrah building.

"A witness to the explosion named Grossman claimed to have seen a pale yellow Mercury car with a Ryder truck behind it pulling up to the federal building," the log said. The witness "further claimed to have seen a woman on the corner waving to the truck."

A Secret Service agent named McNally "noted that this fact is significant due to the fact that the security video shows the Ryder truck pulling up to the Federal Building and then pausing (7 to 10 seconds) before resuming into the slot in front of the building," the log said. "It is speculated that the woman was signaling the truck when a slot became available."

and the way these "coincidences" are, as you put it, "to the benefit of servants of money."
